To me, photographing a wedding is more than just taking pictures. It is about being present in the moment and capturing the moments that tell the bigger story. The little moments not only between the couple, but all the important and special people that are such a big part or their lives. My focus on the day is not only to create beautiful images, but to create a monument to my couples journey together.

Yes! I shoot primarily in CO and WY in the summer, and Phoenix and CA in the winter months. However, I love traveling and am available worldwide!

How many pictures will we receive?

Are the Digitals retouched?
During the course of a wedding, I will typically take 1000's of photo's. However, I try and narrow down and deliver 700-800 (or roughly 100 per hour of coverage). Any more than that and it can be overwhelming!!
Absolutely! Engagement sessions are one of my favorites and I love getting to know couples ahead of time. The more creative the better! Because of my busy wedding schedule, engagement sessions are typically Mon-Thur, and evenings are a great time with light!
Yes! Ok, there are two levels of retouching actually. The first is what most people refer to with this question and that is color/tonal correction, cropping, etc. The second is a full retouch including skin softening, teeth whitening, etc. The full retouching is included on wall art, but all digitals include the first level!
I have photographed weddings for 20 years, and have recently starting filming weddings as well. Because I personally shoot every wedding, I usually focus on just photography or video. However, if video is of primary importance to you, I do offer a special collection were my wife and I as a team can shoot both. Contact me for more details!
How long does it take to get the images?
I will deliver the online gallery of images and the album pre-design within 6 weeks. This allows me to fully edit all the delivered images and custom pre-design an album.
What is the deposit?
How does the album pre-design work?
To reserve your date, I require 50% of the collection selected. The remainder is due 30 days before the wedding.
This is one of the favorite things our couples love! With your online gallery, I will also send you an album design for you to review as a starting point for your perfect storybook. I don't pre-design with a page limit, but let the design flow with the day. You can then request changes online, or we can get together in person or virtually and I can be your personal graphic designer to fine tune and design the perfect album for you! Because I photograph every wedding, I only take a limited number of couples each year. If you love adventure, heart warming films (with maybe a few tears!), and cherish every moment, then you may be one of the couples perfect for this style of storytelling!
